William Francis Smith, 84, a 52-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away March 16, 2013. He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Camden N.J. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. William worked for TWA for 38 years and the FAA for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Dubois; and his brother, Robert Smith. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; four sons, Michael (Karen) Smith, Gregory Smith, Mark (Sheri) Smith and Gary (Sherise) Smith; six grandsons; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and his brother, Richard (Jenny) Smith. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Sunday, March 24, with funeral services following, both at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Burial to follow at Palm Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the American Parkinson's Association and Alzheimer's Association .
