William Richard Compton Sr., 77, of Las Vegas, died July 14. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an MSGT/E7 during the Vietnam War. Services at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 19, at Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave., North Las Vegas.
