William "Mark" Clarke, age 62, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on Hamilton Air Force Base in Northern California, but has been a Las Vegas resident for past 39 years. He graduated from Chantilly High School near Fairfax, Virginia in 1981 and served in the United States Air Force from 1982 before moving to Las Vegas in 1985. Mark served as a Corrections Officer for 15 years before retiring. He then went on to attend UNLV to help him study to become a Screenwriter which he has excelled at for the past several years, writing many scripts while working at Nevada Cancer Institute until they eventually closed.
He is survived by his mother, Eunice Clarke, and his brother Steven Clarke both of Henderson, Nevada. He will be dearly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ at 101 S. Rancho Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89106.
