Vivian Erdin Garver, 91, passed away Aug. 12, 2010, at home in Las Vegas. Born Dec. 21, 1918, in Grayling, Mich., to Bert and Eula Hollingsworth, she graduated from Northern High in Detroit. Vivian became a resident of Las Vegas 35 years ago and retired from retail sales. She loved adventure and traveling. Vivian enjoyed being active with her family and friends, including dancing and gaming. She leaves behind her sister, Dorothy Griffin of Colorado; four children, Robert Bush of North Carolina, Marilyn Chrisman of Michigan, Darlene Noordam of Las Vegas, and Larry Ferguson of California; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, with graveside services following, all at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
