Vincent D. Van Demark, affectionately known as "Vinnie", took flight surrounded by love and listening to his favorite jazz music. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin.
Vincent was born in Kingston, NY, and was a 39-year resident of the LV valley. He worked security at the Mint, later the gaming control board, and then at the Yellow Checker Star Cab Company. He was a diehard NY Giant and avid Golden Knight fan.
Vincent leaves behind with cherished memories his devoted and loving wife Vicky (Rivela) of 27 years; son Scott and wife Shari; daughter Lori and husband James; and son Jeff and wife Nancy. In addition, he leaves his adored five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law, as well as several nephews and cousins.
Vincent loved the beaches of Mazatlán, football, exercise, his sausage and pepper sandwiches, and life. We will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm; with a funeral service from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Avenue; reception to follow. Condolences can be made at www.palmeastern.com.
