peacefully in her home in Las Vegas, NV that she shared with her son Peter and his wife Melony. Valerie was born in the Bronx, New York to Mr. Clarence Ware and Mrs. Jessie Ware on October 6, 1940.
She was the youngest of two daughters. Marguerite was her older sister who she precedes . Her
Father passed away when she was just 3. Her Mother remarried years later to Tolson Cheltenham and
they moved to Queens, NY where she grew up and graduated from Andrew Jackson high School. Valerie then went on to Secretary School where she excelled.
Valerie met her husband Samuel Ronald "Ron" Bush on a blind date and married 2 years later on August 19, 1963 they had two handsome sons Peter and Lance.
Valerie was a secretary at Rochdale Village Management then found her love as a church secretary in
several churches in Queens. Her last position before she retired was at The First Presbyterian Church of Jamaica where she was the Director of Adult Education.
Valerie loved to play Mahjong and Find the object on her Kindle, she also loved her Mystery series on TV and most of all Hallmark shows.
The love of her life Ron passed away on July 27, 2020, at that time she and Max her dog, moved to Las Vegas , NV with her eldest son Peter and his wife Melony.
She leaves to mourn her passing and memory: her sons Peter (Melony), (NV), Lance ( Denise), (NY) Lance and Denise's daughters: whom she loving called her "Sweetpeas", Sidney and Skylar. Her daughter from another Dr. Sherill (Shelly} Spruill (NY}, Brother from another Hank Smith, (NJ}, Sister from another Carmen Murray (NC}. Brother-in-Law Dr. Robert Bush,(GA}, Sister-in-law, Brenda and blessed with many wonderful Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
Valerie had wonderful friends and family that she spoke to all the time and shared many hours of
memories with.

Before Dad passed away, he said to Peter "Please take care of your Mother and keep her happy'', Peter promised that he would make sure she always had her favorite things: Flowers, Balloons and Love and she had all of those things every day until her last breath.
