Tyfani Mae Hoopes-Corn, age 57, got her Angel Wings on Saturday morning, June 3, 2023, and is now resting comfortably in the arms of God. She was born September 1, 1965, to Kenneth W. Hoopes and Eva Mae Milligan Hoopes, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was a graduate of Basic High School in Henderson, then went on to earn an Associates Degree in Electronic Technology from Phoenix Institute of Technology. She worked for several years in the electronic technology field for Pitney Bowes in Phoenix, she then took a promotion to work for them in the San Diego area.
Tyfani had a strong desire to move closer to her family in the early 90’s and returned to Las Vegas when her first nephew, little Justin James Hoopes was born, she wanted and needed to be near that baby. Sadly, after only three short months, God must have missed him terribly because He took him back to Heaven. Though heart-broken, she was a huge source of love and support for her brother Alan and his wife Shelly during that difficult time.
She took a position at the Mirage and eventually helped open the MGM Grand as a manager. She worked for the MGM while getting her Real Estate License, and then joined her mother, in the Real Estate business in 1998. They opened Hoopes Team Realty, Inc. in 2001, where she excelled in helping create a successful business. She loved what she did and it was evident in her devotion and respect for her clients, who all became her extended family. Even after years of doing it, she would still cry whenever she handed keys over to her “First Time Homebuyers”, she was so proud of them to have accomplished the American Dream and so happy that she was the one that helped them do it. Her work ethic was to be admired and she was well respected in the Real Estate community.
She was a life long “Born & Raised” resident and so very proud of that. She was deeply affected by the October, 1 tragedy and involved herself in the Vegas Strong Movement. She loved her City all it has to offer.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Milligan Hoopes-Glass, her Other Dad, Darrell Glass, her Soulmate Jeff Corn, brother Alan James Hoopes and his wife Shelly, nephews Logan James Hoopes and wife Alexa,& Tanner Ridge Hoopes, niece Kenzie River Hoopes Wamsley and husband Myles, great nephew William James (Billy) Hoopes, step son Josh, wife Alissa and grandchildren Catherine and Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth W. Hoopes, loving grandparents James and Fern Milligan and Bill and Verna Hoopes and a nephew Justin James Hoopes.
She may be gone but she will NEVER be forgotten..Rest in Peace Beautiful Girl.
