Celebrating Troy’s Life Troynell Johnson Jr. was born to the proud parents of Myisha Billups and Troynell Johnson Sr. on October 5, 1997 in Oakland, California at Summit Hospital. Troy accepted Christ at a young age and was wise beyond his years. Troy started his early years in East Oakland, CA shortly after he moved to Alameda, CA. He attended Washington Elementary in 2002 where Troy also started T-ball at the Babe Ruth League at the age of 5 years old. During his time at Babe Ruth League Troy won the Dirty Glove Award in 2006 and later the team went on to win the National Championship in 2008. Troy quickly mange to excel in all sports Baseball, Football and later found his love for basketball. Finally in 2009, Troy moved to Las Vegas, NV where he attended Lied Middle School. He attended three years at Shadow Ridge High School where he started working at Fabulous Freddy’s and was presented with the Junior Varsity Basketball MVP 2012/2013 plaque. Later Troy attended Canyon Springs High School where he graduated with High School Diploma in June 2015. Troy was a young man who truly loves his family and friends dearly. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a smile so bright, and his presence with laughter could fill any room. Troy became very adventurous at a young age from riding big bikes, walking off the elementary school campus and crossing busy intersections to the store in the 1st grade and wanting to obtain his motorcycle license. He loved the water and swim like a fish. He enjoyed eating Slim Jim Original Beef Jerky more than home cooked food. Troy was becoming a man who stood by his own words, “My greatest fear is becoming a man who does not keep his word or promise to his friends and family. My word is everything to me and if I don’t keep it I feel I will lose myself. Back in the day you could buy a car off your word. That’s how important it is and why I like to keep my word”. We all know Troy could observe a person of having any doubt that he couldn’t; we know he would definitely prove you wrong and say his famous words “I’m the BEST”. Troynell Johnson Jr. leaves to cherish his memories of loving parents Myisha Billups and Troynell Johnson Sr. - he brought them so much joy. His loving stepmother Treon Donnelly (Mookie), and stepfather Diallo Ester. He leaves two sisters; Troyana and Troyonn, one brother; Troy; one nephew, Aiden, he also leaves three cousins (raised as brothers) Javonte, Jermaine and Jammel. His loving grandmothers; Darlene King and Kathy Armstrong, his grandfathers; Leon Billups Jr. and Randy Johnson Sr., his uncles and aunts: Lavell, Shawn, LaTarus, Adrian and Elijah, Marsha, LaKeisha, Tara, Carlene and LaQuinna, his very special cousin’s; Rayneshia, Raymia, Jimarre’, Aaliyah, Jordan, Destiny and Charniqua, Shanika, Porsha, Rayshawn, Ricky, Phillip and sharing his last day with best friend Brian Freeman, and close friends Juwan Johnson, Di’Amond Brown and Keaton Butler. Also cherishing Troy’s precious memories are the world of very special cousins, family and friends whom he loved, so many who could not be named, but you know who you are.
