Connie's life was most definitely exciting. She was born in Manila, Philippines on December 28, 1951 to Cy Lim and Pilar de Jose. She went to Chinese school in the Philippines, advancing two grades. She had many different business ventures in life, including building and successfully operating a hotel, building a condominium project, a jewelry business and an interior design business. She was always compassionate and creative with all she did. Extremely devoted to family, she always had their best interest in mind. Connie and I married on December 19, 1999 at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, NV. I was blessed and fortunate to have been able to spend the last 19 years with her. She was my true love, partner, friend, and at times my adversary. At the young age of 58, our world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with colon and ovarian cancer (stage three). Connie was challenged with so many things, but she met each challenge head on. She battled strongly and bravely for the next eight years before succumbing to this terrible disease. Connie was a loving and forgiving person who was loved by everyone she met. She will be deeply missed, until we are together once more.
Your always loving, Doug
