Thomas Franklin D Mendiola

Thomas Franklin Duenas Mendiola was called home by our heavenly Father in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 67. Tommy was a loving husband and the best father and papa. Everything he did was for the love of his family. He gave everyone a chance, even when nobody else would. He opened his doors and heart to everyone he came in contact with. This past summer he traveled along the West Coast visiting family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tommy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved - his beloved wife, Bernadette, and his children and grandchildren - Sean Edward Mendiola, Philip Gerard & Shannon Mendiola (Tasi Angelica Mendiola, Tano Michael Matua Mendiola) and Thomas Drake Mendiola.

Tommy is also survived by his sisters and their families - Marie & John Cruz (Mia Janelle Cruz, Isabel Cruz), Jonathan & Haruka Cruz (Isidro Cruz) and Jude Cruz; Patricia and Vicente Sablan; Elizabeth D. Mendiola; and his sister- and brothers-in-law and their families - Norene Reyes Aldridge (Keone Charles & Amalia Badua (Charlie Paige Badua and Brynn Scott Badua) & Adrian Aldridge (Adrienne Tiffany Reyes Aldridge, Maria Camarin Reyes Aldridge (Mya Marie, Adrian Kyrie), Natasha Marie Reyes Aldridge, Clifton Adrian Reyes Aldridge and Summer Secily Reyes Aldridge; Randolph Reyes.

In his new life, Tommy will be reunited with his parents and parents-in-law, Tomas Flores & Isabel Duenas Mendiola; Gonzalo Chaco & Cecilia Diaz Reyes; his son, Michael Mathew Mendiola; his nephew, Bryan Scott Reyes Badua; his brothers and brother-in-law, Anthony Duenas Mendiola, Joseph Gerard Mendiola and Leonard K. Badua.

A family viewing will be held at Palm Mortuary (on S. Eastern Ave.) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on November 7th. Last respects will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on November 8th. Public viewing will begin at 10 A.M. followed by the Memorial Mass at noon.
