Theresa Fiore

Theresa Fiore passed away July 5, 2023, in Henderson, Nevada from complications related to cancer. Theresa was born November 22, 1944, in Queens, New York to Mario and Assunta Strianese (née DiNicola.) She was a resident of Henderson, Nevada for over twenty years before moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida after retiring from The Palazzo as a casino dealer. After six years in Florida, Theresa moved back home to Henderson to be close to her grandson.

Before first moving to Henderson in 1992, Theresa and her family lived in South Lake Tahoe, California, where she began her casino career at The High Sierra. Prior to her life in Nevada, Theresa graduated Hofstra University and taught elementary school in Long Island, New York.

Theresa is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Edward and Jo-Ann Fiore (née Magliocca), daughter Gina Fiore and grandson Nicolas.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, Edward Elio Frank Fiore. She is preceded in death one week by her brother Frederick A. Strianese.

Theresa loved the New York Mets, Billy Joel and most of all spending time with her grandson Nicolas working on jigsaw puzzles, playing the games Uno and Sorry!, and coloring. She will be missed.

Theresa will be laid to rest at Palm Mortuary-Eastern in Henderson alongside her husband Ed. The family is having a private memorial.
