Terry Elizabeth Lowry

Terry Elizabeth Lowry, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 14, 2011. She was born April 16, 1947, in Minnesota, and was a 45-year resident of Nevada. She worked in the casino industry for 30 years, where she became the first woman casino manager in Nevada History. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her, husband, David Lowry; son, Danny Lowry; mother, Doris Stemler; and brother, Richard Lee. She is survived by her sons, John David and Alan, both of Las Vegas; daughter, Evva of California; her brother, William Pearce of Reno; granddaughters, Ashley, Koryn and Jordan Lowry; and grandsons, Lance, Frankie, Conner and Gannon Lowry. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, with reception following, both at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
