I can't imagine what my youth would have looked like without the Stover family.  Dawn, you and Tawnya always had the brightest smiles, the warmest hearts and the best attitudes.  I don't think we ever said either of your names separately.  It was always "Dawn and Tawyna." 

I was simply heartbroken when I heard of this unimaginable loss in October.  I want you to know that my sister and I still think of you all often and with love.  

Mr. and Mrs. Stover- thank you so much for giving the world your wonderful girls.  You have so much to be proud of.  I hope that you can find some comfort in the memories of Tawnya's sweet soul and know that she will be forever missed.

Tawnya, we first met at MBF labs and you were the most positive uplifting person I’ve ever known. You had such a Genuine Loving always smiling and laughing way about you. 
I love going to work knowing you were going to be there.  You had such a detail work ethic that I admired.
We haven’t seen each other or talked in years. 
You popped up in my mind out of the blue a couple of weeks ago and I was wondered how you were doing,  then i received a call from our friend Donna and I just couldn’t comprehend what she saying. 
I remember how close you were to your family and my heart and deepest sympathy goes out to them..I will pray for peace and comfort.

     My special friend. I don't even know what to say about this.  It just does not even seem real.  I am still in such shock of your passing as others are that it has taken me a while to gather any thoughts as to what to say.  I am just broken.  When I was looking back at my text messages, I saw that the last text that you sent me was the day you passed. When I saw the time stamp and day, I just sat in my kitchen and cried.  I remember when I first met you. We  were both working at the lab and you were in Microbiology after I was.  What a conundrum that was!  Fridays were the best at the lab because you and the rest of our gang that worked nights were all together on that day! Countless nights of ordering Chinese, Church's chicken, Wing Stop and other places. You were always wanting the dessert menu. This is when I started calling you "Chocolate Fountain."  I will so miss telling you stories and you saying,"Tammy, you crack me up.  You need to write a book."  We would spend hours and hours on the phone and you laughed so hard sometimes that I thought you hung up! I wouldn't have blamed you with some of the messes I have gotten myself into! The night my mom passed away, you stayed on the phone with me until 3:00 A.M. I will always cherish that as no one else would have ever done that.  You were a special soul who in my eyes was a catalyst that brought joy and laughter to everyone that was in your presence. You always had a positive attitude and had the best sense of humor. You were taken way too soon from us and a void will always be there.   When we meet again, I would love to tell you this poem (that is if I can recite it all by heart. ( It's like 12 lines though!!)  
Chocolate is sweet 
and so good to eat.
I like it whenever
I need a good treat.
In brownies and cookies
and chocolate cake,
It adds extra sweetness
to everything you bake
White chocolate, dark chocolate
and milk chocolate galore,
I know I could eat 100 pieces or more!

So shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Tawnya. I remember her has one of the two sweet little girls who sat behind me at Second Baptist with her mother, father and grandmother.

I'll always love and remember Tawnya's infectious laugh. She loved life and brought a light into my day. I only knew her for 3 years, but they were better years for it. We'd sit and tell stories and laugh and laugh. She helped me learn at a new career field. Always ready to answer any question or laugh at one of my lame jokes. There were 4 to a room: Yvonne, Pam, Tawnya, and who was the 4th person?
I remember seeing a dark brown chest in the room, but it was padlocked.  
“What does it contain?” I asked.  
Ramen.
Ramen??
Ramen.
“Why do you have to have it padlocked?”
“Food rationing, you know...”

“Grace, what would you like to have?”
“Single scoop of ice-cream.”
Moments later...
“Tawnya, what is that???  Did you receive someone else’s order, by mistake?”

You can tell a person’s character, by the way a room is lit up.  It is done, in one of two ways: either when a person walks into it, or when a person leaves it.  

Tawnya, your jovial smiles and laughter, have added to my university journey, and beyond.  I shall miss you very much. Go & enjoy your physical healing, in your new body in the Presence of the Lord. Till we meet again, save some heavenly delights for me. You know, the usual kind: chocolate & ice-cream!!  Tottseins!

Tawnya you where such an awesome best friend/ sister, our times at the Red Lion and Pohaku where such unforgettable times.  You always brought such joy and happiness to whereever you were and I know that you will continue to do the same there in Heaven.  Everyone you touched you left a positive lasting impression. Tawnya my sister, my roommate, my friend. So many memories, but still not enough. Most memory’s I cannot post because I do not want you to get in trouble . I will never forget our exercise walks to Waikiki, and we always end up having ice cream.   
You're the only person I know who never ever get mad or angry with anything or anybody.  You are always so cheerful.  You will be missed.

The bright and beautiful picture of Tawnya says it all.  To be around Tawnya was in a word "Joyful"!  She did what our Lord Jesus said do "let your light so shine".
I have so many fond memories of her that I will always cherish.  We will all surely miss seeing that beautiful smile and the joy and laughter you brought to our lives.
