Susan Bruno Talbot, 70, formerly of Kenosha, late of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on January 4, 2022 from complications of pneumonia. The daughter of Ottie J. and Nathleen Bruno, she was born on March 7, 1951 in Kenosha, WI. She attended Kenosha schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
In 1970, she moved to southern California and began a 30-year career in the Staffing profession. She had an entrepreneurial spirit which led her, in 2001, to move to Jackson, CA to open a lingerie shop called Bella Luna that specialized in helping women with breast cancer. In 2004, she moved to Las Vegas and was employed as a project manager for a construction firm. She retired in 2016.
Sue enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends in her home. She had a reputation for planning and hosting great parties. She loved going to the movies and had a passion for dogs and cats. Sue loved her family, travelling, keeping in touch with faraway friends and nice, sunny days.
Survivors include her long-time partner, Matthew Gniadek, siblings, Bernadette Cardinali of Las Vegas, Ottie D. (LouAnn) Bruno of Orlando, FL., Domenic (Juliana) Bruno of Oxnard, CA and Rose Bruno of Valencia, CA. She will also be missed by her many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Tom Cardinali.
Dignity Memorial is serving the family. Services were private. Those who wish to make a memorial in Sue’s memory are requested to make a donation to an animal shelter of their choice.
