As I'm getting ready to go to Fright Fest and prepare to be hypnotized by the great Susan Rosen, I was informed that she transitioned a couple years ago... This saddens me for sure. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences continuously go out to her family and friends. She was and will forever be the only person to get me to sing and dance like Britney Spears on stage! Wow. I'm going to miss this amazing woman 🕊😔💔 Great America will never be the same..

My Condolences to the family. I knew Susan at the start of her Hypnosis career and we did some traveling and shows together. Fun times had by all and a pleasure meeting the family the few times I did. 
I am just sorry we lost touch, partly my fault. She was a caring loving friend and liked to take care of her friends almost as much as taking care of her family.

Susan and I chatted by phone on many occasions over the years.  Her willingness to share her knowledge and experiences with me was amazing.  We passed event contacts and shared stories of shows and the fun people we had met over the years.  When I learned of Susans passing, ( just today) it took my breath away, and saddened me.  She will be remembered and dearly missed. My thoughts and deepest condolences go out to her family, who she spoke of often with unbridled joy.

SUSEN was like a 2nd mom to me.  I wrold sit for the weekend at her show s and be put out. Lol.   She was careing and loveing.   Got to know her and sons realy well.         I'm going to miss her so much.     Love you SUSEN.   Say hi to my mom up there.  

Susan Rosen was so kind and friendly when I asked her to take pictures with her,and loved going to her shows at Six Flags Great America Fright Fest always made me laugh also made my day aswell, she will be missed but not forgotten.

Susan Rosen hypnotized so many people at Six Flags Great America's Fright Fest for over 15 years and a few shows up North; in Illinois,  at her friend's bar. I never got hypnotized because I enjoyed watching her shows but I purchased plenty of her shows on VHS, DVDs and buttons which now will bring me much more found memories of her and her great Talent. She was a kind person and became friends to many whom attended her shows throughout the years. She will be missed by all and never forgotten.  "Sleep Now " and Rest in Peace Susan Rosen! Until we meet again.

Susan is a bright light that will never dim in the hearts of all that loved her.  
I had the pleasure of working with Susan back in 2008.  I flew out to Las Vegas to meet with Susan and a few other performers to put together a safety program for hypnotists to help keep the audience members safe.  Susan created an online class that each hypnotist had to take before they were able to purchase insurance.  
While I was in Las Vegas I had the pleasure of meeting Steven and Ricky.  We also hooked up when Susan and her boys were on the way to Six Flags for a quick bite to eat.  I always enjoyed Susan's stories and the boys were such a joy to be around and as entertaining as their mother.  
My heart goes out to Susan's family.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss. 

Susan Rosen was such a big part of Great America's Fright Fest for over 15 years.
I had the pleasure of being hynotized many times by her. While I don't remember the fun things my friends said sad she had me do I remember her gentle touch. She was a friend a kind person to all who talked to her. Her "Sleep now" will never leave my mind.
We will never forget you Susan please rest in peace, we will meet again.

Susan Rosen has previously been a staple in Six Flags Great America's Fright Fest entertainment lineup. She was witty, funny, but most importantly a very kind and caring person if you had the opportunity to get to know her. She became friends to many of the regulars whom attended her shows at park over the years. She will most certainly be missed but definitely won't be forgotten. 

Over the weekend while cleaning house I came across her Weight Loss Hypnosis cd once again.  She was always humble and sweet to everyone including myself.  There are too many memories of the various shows and encounters I have had with her to pick one. May she entertain with same love and kindness in heaven she did on earth.

I’m so saddened by the loss of my cousin Susie. Unfortunately, we didn’t see each other as often after she moved to Vegas. However, I’ll always have fond memories as kids and young adults getting together at all the family parties at her parents’ home. May you rest in peace, Susie. 

I had the honor of knowing Susan almost 39 years. We met her when Steven was only 4 months old. I knew instantly that she was a good friend. I was there when she had Matt and Ricky and the stories I could tell. Her parents were loving and always made my family as if we were all related.  Susan never knew a stranger and her smile could make everyone smile. She will be so missed!


Susan had a heart as big as Texas - and many were blessed by her kindness.  We worked a number of fairs with her, and her generosity and helpfulness are memories we cling to now. We keep her sons in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, my friend. ❤️❤️

My heart breaks for her boys Ricky and Steven. She was fierce in her love for them and it showed. We have had the pleasure of some fun nights after the conventions to enjoy sushi, drinks and lots of laughter with her and the boys. I will always remember her great stories of her life growing up and just her genuine love of her career. She will be missed. 💔

She was a wonderful woman and I met through my husband who knew her for many years working at Six Flags Great America.  She was a wonderful woman who knew what she wanted and always boasted about her children.  She loved doing the Hypnotist shows during Fright Fest and would always give me advice on daily life.  We lost touch a bit towards the end but I know she was loved by many.  I will be praying for her 3 boys as this will be a difficult time for them.

Bruce and I will always remember the “good times” we had with Susan and her boys. She was always so kind and generous no matter her day. We will remember her laughter and beautiful smile. We love you Susan and  May you rest in Eternal Peace with the Angels...God Bless and SLPNOW. 😇🙏

Over the years Susan graced my stages on many occasions.  She was a wonderful person, a great and dependable artist. And a proud and caring moth we. She was an outstanding contributor to the advancement and safety of her craft.
She will be missed.

Had the privilege of knowing Susan as a Friend and peer for many years. Thanks to her contributions with the safety program for stage hypnotists, acquiring shows and making clients comfortable with their choices became much much easier. I fell in love with her infectious personality and her willingness to share. She definitely leaves a proud legacy.  

Susan was a real “trouper” and built a wonderful career as a stage hypnotist. She successfully performed at top entertainment venues throughout the country and abroad.  On a personal note Susan had a big heart and helped many others during her career. Susan’s most important contribution to the stage hypnosis industry was the development of her stage hypnosis safety program.  All stage hypnotists owe Susan a debt of gratitude for revolutionizing and adding a further layer of legitimacy to the stage hypnosis industry. Susan will be greatly missed by many of us, but her work and the safety protocols she developed will be her professional legacy and live on for many years to come.
