Stephen Kenneth Stone

Stephen Kenneth Stone, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Milo, Maine, he was raised in Connecticut and New York where he worked as a NY Limo Driver and was a frequent visitor at Studio 54. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army for 11 years, and served in the U.S. Navy for another 11 years. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who spent many years living in Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, and Korea, then settled down in one of the most exciting cities in the world, Lemoore, California.

He loved spending time with his wife and grandkids, making them laugh, taking them on adventures to the park, and seeing the ocean. He loved participating in many church activities and finishing his race as a Head Deacon in the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). His fun pastimes were watching military documentaries, making lasagna and pancakes, going to Olive Garden, and asking for military discounts.

Stephen is survived by his loving Wife, Elizabeth; Sons Gilbert (Geraldine) and Aaron (Mai Lie); Daughters Bernadette (David) and Stephanie; Grandchildren Adalynn, Ariel, Mannix, Nathan, Delila and Logan; Furry Grandchildren Mai Tai, Mochi, Peanut Butter, and Dexter Morgan; and numerous extended family members who he loved.

Proud to serve his country, Stephen will be buried with Full Military Honors. A special thanks to all friends and family who visited and supported him throughout this difficult year.

A visitation for Stephen will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A reception will occur Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Friday, July 1, 2022 from 1:20 PM to 2:00 PM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
