Stephanie J. W. Banks

Stephanie J. W. Banks, 57, a hotel/pantry worker, passed away Feb. 5, 2012. Stephanie was born June 26, 1954 in Fresno, Calif. to Joseph & Anne Washington, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1972. She worked at the Riviera Hotel and Fremont Hotel for over 20 years. She married in August 1990 to Willie Banks. She was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin James. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Willie E. Banks of Las Vegas; three daughters, Kamaron Washington of Las Vegas, Brandie Banks of Tampa, Fla., and Vicki Conway of Las Vegas; grandson, Kyree Washington; brother, Keith James; four sisters, Ellen Gail Jackson, Karen Washington, Mamie (Gary) Morris, and Sybil (Silas) Washington, all of Las Vegas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10, at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Greater New Jerusalem M.B.C., 1100 D. St., Las Vegas.
