Stanley Eric McDonald, Sr.

Funeral Services for SSgt Stanley E McDonald, Sr., (retired) will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at the Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, in Las Vegas, NV. Interment will be held at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City, NV.

Stanley E McDonald, Sr. was born on May 20, 1956, to Ruth and Jimmie McDonald; he passed away on July 4, 2024.

Stanley enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1975. For 20 years, he dedicated himself to providing essential administrative support to various units. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. After retirement from the military, he worked at the United State Post Office until his health would no longer allow it.

Stanley was a sports fanatic, and he proudly wore the badge of a ‘49er Faithful.’

He leaves to carry on his legacy of love: his wife, Diane; his sons, Stan Jr of Phoenix, AZ; and Marques of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Nariyah and grandson, Jordan of Phoenix, AZ; his mother, Ruth; sisters, Lori Wheeler and Leslie McDonald of Fresno, CA., and many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and residents of Fresno, CA and Las Vegas, NV.
