Sherry Lee Powell

Sherry was born in California and resided there until 2005 when she and Warren moved to Las Vegas, NV. Sherry was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Warren C. Powell until his death in 2007. Sherry is survived by her daughter Mardel Deis (Powell) and Son-in-Law Ron Deis and daughter Christy Powell and Son-in-Law Cedric Sandoval. Sherry is also survived by her two granddaughters Jasmine Escobedo and Lilian Escobedo.

One of Sherry’s greatest joys was being a devoted and supportive grandmother to Jasmine and Lilian. She showered them with immeasurable love, care, and support. Sherry made countless memories with them, creating a bond that will never fade. As a grandmother, Sherry enjoined spending time with her granddaughters. She was their biggest cheerleader, attending countless soccer games and gymnastics meets. Sherry’s presence and unwavering support brought great comfort to Jasmine and Lilian.

Sherry was also an extraordinary mother, always there with open arms, a kind heart, and warm smile. Her unconditional love, wisdom, and sense of humor brought great strength and inspiration to her daughters. She encouraged them to be their best selves, and her impact on their lives is immeasurable.

Sherry’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Her loving nature, infectious laughter, and caring personality will be greatly missed. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.
