Shawn David Treasure passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada after bravely fighting cancer for 5 years. He was born on September 23, 1968 in Brigham City, Utah to David and Nancy Treasure.
He grew up in Cache Valley before leaving Utah for the big city of Las Vegas. Despite the distance, he made sure to always put family first.
Shawn was nothing less than brave and thoughtful. He loved to spoil the family with gifts. He had a great sense of humor and a beaming smile. Shawn was a Star Wars and DC Comics fanatic. He loved his music and a variety of movies.
He was an excellent bartender working for Applebee's, Joe's Crab Shack, then PF Changs where he made many lasting friendships. Shawn retired in 2021 due to his illness.
He is preceded in death by Dave & Mae Treasure, Grampy Floyd Kaneko, Uncles; Stan Kaneko, Curtis Kaneko, Aunt Elizabeth Vaughn & Cousin Chelsey Kaneko.
Shawn is remembered & survived by David & Nancy Treasure, Siblings; Marcy Treasure and Ty Treasure (Sabrina); Niece TyLyn, Nephews; Paul "Moon", and Asher, Aunts; Michelle (Jeff) Lathrom, Barbara (Randy) Williams, Robbin Kaneko, Julie Kaneko, Bonnie (Farrell) Jenkins, Debbie Treasure, Uncle Rich Vaughn, Grammy Leona Kaneko, and many special cousins.

We would also like to express our deepest and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Regan Holdrige and her incredible staff. Shawn had a great love and respect for you all.
