Shane Neal Sanderson was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Shane will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Shane was born on April 28, 1983 at St. Marx Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of Tania Fieramoza and Ken Sanderson. Shane grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, Las Vegas, Nevada and Gilbert, Arizona.
Shane was raised with two sisters and a step-sister. He had two younger sisters Nicki and Tiffany and a step-sister Courtney. Shane was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young boy, Shane had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. In his spare time he liked to draw and make comic books. Shane's memorable achievements included his amazing drawings. However, to Shane, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.
A typical teenager, Shane had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Silverado High School in 2001. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class in high school was computers. He was a great violinist.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Shane enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. Later in life, he became friends with Robert Thomson and Spencer Krick.
On March 6, 2010 Shane exchanged wedding vows with Megan Marie Allred at Mt. Charleston Las Vegas, Nevada. Empathic and loyal, Shane was committed to making his new family happy.
Shane worked hard to be a good father to his child and he did his best to fulfill her needs. Shane was blessed with one child, Chelsea Marie Sanderson.
Fortunately, Shane enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Shane worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was technology. He was employed as technical support. Shane always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Shane enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were World of Warcraft. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Throughout his life, Shane was a doer and was always actively involved in professional and community organizations. In high school, Shane was a member of the orchestra.
Shane was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Meow. They were best friends for 6 months.
Shane passed away on October 5, 2011 at St. Rose Sienna in Las Vegas, NV. He died suddenly after battling an infection. He is survived by his wife Megan, his daughter Chelsea, his mother Tania, sisters Nicki, Tiffany & Courtney, Aunt Heidi, Uncles David, Carl, Raymond and his Grandmother Candy and his father Ken. Services were held at Palm Mortuary.
Simply stated, Shane was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Shane leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Shane Neal Sanderson.
