Sarah A. Sobaski

She was born July 8, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Leonard Sobaski and Donna Glorioso. She lived a full life alongside her brother Joseph Sobaski and sister Heather Sobaski Curtin, along with a large group of friends who became her extended family. She met her partner for life, Spiro Siavelis, while working at the Palms Hotel and they began dating January 2014.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2009. She continued her education at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a Master’s Degree in Education in 2015. Through the years, she worked at many properties on the Las Vegas strip including The Mirage, The MGM and The Palms before discovering her passion for education. She completed her practicum and student teaching at Liberty High School before accepting a full-time position in the social studies department to officially become a Liberty Patriot in 2015. Sarah loved her students as her very own and made a positive impact on many of their lives.

Sarah loved and was passionate about so many things, it's hard to sum it all up. She loved watching trashy reality TV, doing escape rooms and all things Koala. She enjoyed dancing, working out and insisted on sharing an entrée when eating out. She liked long walks through Target and the San Diego Zoo. She had fond memories of her semester abroad in Alicante, Spain and spoke of her time there often. She enjoyed a good debate and enjoyed teaching her students to do the same. Sarah in general loved hard and fought harder. Her kind heart left a lasting impression on anyone she met. All she wanted from the world was to live life to the fullest and with unconditional love.

Sarah is survived by her brother Joseph Sobaski; her sister Heather Sobaski Curtin; her husband Spiro Siavelis; and her large extended family. Sarah will take her place in heaven with her father Leonard Sobaski; her mother Donna Glorioso; along with many uncles and aunt.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, March 21, 2021 at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Palm Eastern ahead of the service.
