Sandra “Sandye” Benbow, 74, of Las Vegas, passed away on August 18, 2023 in her hometown.
Funeral services will not be held as she wished for cremation and a reunion with her mother’s ashes in Point Defiance, Washington.
Sandra Lea Cripe was born in Las Vegas to Marguerite Maxine Copeland and Lionel Ellis Cripe II on October 29, 1948. She went to school at Las Vegas High School. She married Richard Benbow on November 26, 1983 in Las Vegas. She worked as a Homemaker for her remaining years.
Sandye is preceded in death by her dear sister Kathleen Harris, her mother Marguerite Cripe, and several life long friends. Sandye is survived by her husband Dr. Richard Benbow, her daughters Bonnie (Cayl) Lykins and Amanda (Daniel) Goodavish, her brothers Robert Cripe and Larry Cripe, and her grandsons Addison James and Noah Goodavish.
