Samuel Avila

Samuel Avila, 79, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. A 40 year resident of Las Vegas, he was born Aug. 22, 1933 in Zacatecas, Mexico. He worked in the Casino & Hotel industry for many years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maria De Los Angeles Avila; his daughters, Lorena Avila, Ilma Avila, Elvira Reveles, Elvia Avila, Graciela Avila, Patricia Avila Dobbs, Maricela Avila and Laura Avila Becerra; his grandchildren, Monica, Jorge, Mario, Cristal, Heriberto, Valeria, Bianca and Diego; his great grandchildren, Sofia and Jordan; his brothers, Manuel Avila and Roberto Avila and his sisters, Teresa Avila Pinedo, Graciela Avila, Josefina Avila and Guadalupe Avila. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 3PM-7PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, NV 89108, on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 11AM with burial to follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery.
