Salvador Blanquera de Guzman Sr.

Born in Sampaloc, Manila on August 6, 1942, he was the second child of six children born to Agapito de Guzman and Margarita Blanquera de Guzman. He graduated from the Philippines' University of the East with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration. In 1975, he brought his family of six to America to start a new life. He has been married to his lovely wife, Minda, for 52 years, and together, they have four children and six grandchildren---daughter Maricar, married to John Berry, with grandsons Aaron and Ryan, sons Salvador Jr., Samuel, married to Ann Davidson, with granddaughters Jackie and Kelly, and son, Stephen, married to Carmen Bauzon, with grandchildren, Taylor and Joshua. "Doy" as he is known to many, enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved eating out with his family, siblings, and friends, watching sports, especially Lakers basketball and Pacquiao fights, karaoke, attending Unilab events, and playing golf. He truly enjoyed life and had a constant smile on his face. He is lovingly remembered by his immediate family, his siblings, Toti de Guzman, Victor de Guzman, Marilou Fores, Cecille Atienza, and Mike de Guzman and his many nieces and nephews.
