Salvatore A. Minutoli, age 89, of Las Vegas, a US Army Veteran, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in Las Vegas. Born December 5, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Las Vegas for over 35 years. Mr. Minutoli worked as a lather and carpenter, working closely with Carpenter's Union 1780, becoming financial secretary. He enjoyed his retirement, spending time with his family and his fellow retirees from the Union. He was proceeded in death by his wife Kathryn, sons: Salvatore and Matthew, and his brother, Frank. Survivors include his children, Andrew (Mary) Minutoli and Diane (fiancé, Robert Engstrom) Lee; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary (John) Fabian. Memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, 89131, A Celebration of Life will follow the service at the Mortuary. Private inurnment will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
