Ruth Lu Pan Liu, age 85, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Ruth was born in China and was a proud naturalized US citizen. She was a strong-willed and intelligent person, well loved by her friends and family, loyal, and a devout Christian. She was married to John Liu, who predeceased Ruth in 1999. Ruth is survived by her son, Dr. Johnson Liu and granddaughter, Miranda Liu. Ruth was a pioneering woman in the early days of computer programming and worked for major car companies, banks, and universities. Those who knew Ruth will remember her intelligence, strongly held principles, quirky sense of humor, and love of life.
