Ruth Collins, 83, of Henderson, passed away Dec. 14, 2011. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., Ruth began a life of travel; first, relocating with husband, Bill, in the U.S. Army and later traveling with her daughter, Kitty. Ruth retired as office manager of Riverside Products. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church and a past worthy matron of Bradenton Ch. 87, O.E.S. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Clark of Henderson; her son, Michael Collins of Angel Fire, N.M.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The celebration of life service will be at noon Dec. 19, at Green Valley Baptist Church, 270 N. Valle Verde. She will be interred with her husband in Bradenton, Fla. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to her church.
