Rubystine Coleman, a native of Paincourtville, La and resident of New Orleans, LA and Las Vegas, NV departed this life on May, 1, 2024 at the age of 79. She leaves to cherish her memory Children, Dieadrie Coleman-Williams, Ray Anthony Coleman, Sr. (LaShawn), Dr. Renee Malinda Coleman-Woods, Eric Eugene Coleman, Rodney Coleman, (Nicole), Dwayne Coleman, and Kimberly Robinson, Grandchildren, Delani M. Williams, Devon C. Williams, Ray A. Coleman, Jr. Raychele N. Stewart, Rayven M. Coleman, (Janice), Clyde Lee Woods, Jr. Mariah M. Woods, Kierra G. Wells, Nicole R. Wells, Denike Magee, Dashon A. Coleman, Aaron Harrison, III, 14 Great-grandchildren, siblings Elsie Theard, Melvina Robinson, Ethelene Tyler, Sherman Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Florestine Robinson, Husband Rayfield Coleman, Brothers James Robinson, Louis Robinson, Sterling Robinson, Rogers Robertson, Jeffery Bruce Robinson, Sisters, Josephine Robinson, Elnora Williams, Lucille Romain, Catherine Clair; Grandchild Dashonna M. Coleman. She will be missed and fondly remembered by MERCY ENDEAVORS SENIOR CENTER and host of relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service has been planned for Saturday, May 18, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. at Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy. New Orleans, LA 70126. The internment location is Providence Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 8200 Airline Hwy. Metairie, LA 70003. A Repast will be held following internment at Mercy Endeavors Senior Center 457 Jackson Ave. NOLA 70130. Cards and flowers can be sent to Boyd Family Funeral Home.
