Ruben “Ben” Raquel was a caring husband, father , grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world January 20, 2024 at age 65.
He was born in Baguio, Philippines on May 25 1958. After graduating from Saint Louis University, He chased his dreams and migrated to Hawaii in 1985. He is survived by loving wife Wila Raquel and children Jay-R, Kayla, Keshlee, and Keenan.
Ben loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for his family. Loved gardening and fishing. Had many wood working projects and loved a good karaoke night.
His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Ben came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
A funeral service is scheduled 10am March 3rd, 2024, at Palms Mortuary 6701 N Jones Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89131, Viewing hours are from 10-12pm with a ceremony following.
