Rose Marie Steadward, a retired executive secretary, passed away on August 19, 2016 at the age of 85. She was born February 28, 1931 in Springfield, MA and had been a resident of Nevada since 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Antoinette Scafuri, son, John Steadward; grandson, Michael John Sanders; brothers, Jimmy, Charles, Albert, and Patrick Scafuri; and sisters, Mary, Lena and Josephine. Rose is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Aceituno and Antoinette Scardina; her son, Charles Steadward; four grandchildren, Jessica Moormann, and John, Jacob, and Jason Steadward; two great-grandchildren, Christian Tejada and James Thomason; two brothers, George and Nicholas Scafuri; and her sister, Cecelia Scafuri. A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 West Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117.
