Rosario “Sammy” Liguori of Del Webb in Summerlin passed peacefully on Sunday, May 7th. He leaves behind his five children Linda Stancati (Peter), Debra Wall (Dale McPherson), Thomas Liguori (Cathy), Michele Lombardi (Joseph), Jennifer Dones (Anthony). Three grandchildren Leigh Acosta, Christina Lombardi, Thomas Liguori. He was a sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict as a tank instructor. He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1929 and was 93 at the time of his passing. His volunteer work included BPOE, Veterans Groups, Ronald McDonald House and Mountain View Hospital. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Aggie and granddaughter Martha. A visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary Cheyenne Monday, May 15, 2023, from 10-12pm followed by a church service at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church at 1pm.
