

Rosalie Dalupan De Guzman died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at home, shortly after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She was born on April 30, 1938 in Manila, Philippines to Primitiva and Maximiano T. Dalupan. She married Rodolfo de Guzman on November 29, 1959.
Rosalie was a brilliant student, a much-admired Professor of Business and Finance for 25 years and an outstanding cook who could whip up delectable dishes and desserts in a flash.
She emphasized the importance of God in our lives, a great education and pride in our work. She was faithful to God in her daily life by attending daily mass, showing kindness to all and having joy in each small blessing. She gave generously to her family, friends and to the poor. Even at the very end of her life, she thought of others, especially my Dad.
She is survived by her husband, Rodolfo, Las Vegas, four children, Roxanne and her husband, Michael, Atlanta, GA; Ronald and his wife, Jocelyn, London, England; Rommel from Los Gatos, CA; Roy and his wife, Lara, Las Vegas. She was Gramma to Aidan, Max, Jody, Sophia, Bianca and Isabella. She is also survived by her sisters, Leticia, Rockville, Maryland and Vicky, Sparks, Nevada, and brothers, Arthur, Julie and Tito, all living in the Philippines.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 12 noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 1807 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89128. Reception will follow immediately at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89129.
