Ronald Sylvester Wells

He spent his childhood in Chicago, IL where he was educated. After high school her enter the Air Force, he served 4 years as an aircraft mechanic. After the Air Force he spent the next 30 years as a Chicago Police Officer. During that time he married Geraldine M. Wells (deceased). From that union, he had a son James and daughter Tasha. Obtained his Bachelor's and then Master's degree. In his final years as a Police Officer he worked on the Mayor's detail for Chicago 1st black mayor, the Honorable Harold Washington. After retirement from C.P.D. he went on to work for Chicago Public Schools as a special education teacher for 10 years. He later married Theresa Wells and gained a daughter, Sharon and grandson, Robert.

He was amazing man and father. The lord called him home Sunday, May 23, 2021 around 7pm.

He leaves to cherish his memory Theresa Wells (wife),Tasha Wells (daughter), James Davis (son), Sharon Fason (daughter), Robert Robinson (grandson), and a host of family and friends. Very special neighbors Tommy and Dorothy.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131, followed by funeral services at 3:00 PM.

Ronald will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, Nevada 89005-1936.
