I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Ron. I am so glad we shared a phone call in October.
Ron was one of the "Stand up" individuals you will meet in a lifetime. While we were not running buddies, he was a valued friend.  My deepest condolences to Brenda and the rest of the Grogan family...

We would like to extend our deepest  and sincere condolences to  the Grogan Family. We met Ron and Brenda about 10 year ago through mutual friends Ted and Elaine Witcher. When we visited Vegas the four us would have dinner together  and the time was in August this year. Ron and I became fast friends bonding over golf ( 100 black men ) tournaments. Other things we shared in common, we both grew  up in Northern California and both were big  fans of the Warriors and 49ers. We spoked our text   during every game. I last spoke  with him , while he was in the hospital during  an early season 49ers  game. I will miss my buddy and our spirited discussions. Rest in peace

One of players Ron disappeared suddenly on November 17, 2023. We haven’t heard from him since. All we know is his first name and that he lives in Las Vegas. Ron is a warm and fun person and we miss him. Do you know if your Ron played WordScapes?

Brenda and Nikka and the entire Grogan family have our family’s deepest condolences.  Farewell and Godspeed to my buddy. Ron and I talked about everything. We played golf and ate breakfast together. Elaine and I had dinner, played cards and traveled with Ron and Brenda. We are friends. I understand he is in a better, pain free place but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss him…a lot. I will remember him always.

Dear Family,
I am so happy to have had the opportunity to get to know my cousin Ronald.  It was just last year that we started seeing each other after years of being in Las Vegas.  We really enjoyed  being  together and I looked forward to seeing him each time. I will really miss him! Love to the family.

Our family will not be the same without our brother, Ron. I know we’ll find comfort in each other and we will get through this together. Ron was such an amazing brother; he was the glue that kept our family together after our parent’s passing. Ron was blessed with a remarkable life and career with his many accomplishments and honors. He always shared his success with everyone. I will always miss and cherish his generosity, his wisdom, his bold honesty, his big, bright eyes and his favorite line "do what mom and dad expected you to do". He had a deep love for his family, friends and Brooklynn, his dog. I received more text messages and pictures, he sent to me, from Brooklynn than from him. Ron, I missed you and love you. You were such a meaningful father figure to my daughter, your Godchild, Jamila, and a dear protective big brother to me. You’re at peace now; give my love to mom and dad. Until I see you again, much love.

Ron was one of the best managers I had at IBM. He was always with a  natural smile and a soft laugh, easy to talk to and listened well. He was encouraging, helpful and appreciative. I can still hear his laugh, almost a giggle. Although not in touch with him, I have only positive, happy memories of a very good person.  My sympathies to all his family .

I want to extend my deepest condolences for the loss of Ron. I knew Ron as an IBMer in San Jose and San Francisco. He was always supportive of others. My heart goes out to Brenda.
