Ronald Theron Ferris proudly served in the Army and National Guard for nine years, demonstrating his commitment to his country with the same dedication he brought to every aspect of his life. Beyond his military service, Ronald was a masterful craftsman who built nine homes, including the one where he raised his family. He created his own awning business, which he operated from his workroom located in the home he built, and invented the canvas log carrier, which, though never patented, was extremely useful. His tremendous architectural skills and meticulous attention to detail left a lasting mark on each structure he created. Ronald’s talents extended to photography, scuba diving, and skiing, as well as collecting hobbies such as rifles, which he taught his sons to use properly. His ability to blend his love for his family with his passion for building has left a legacy of beautiful homes and cherished memories.
