Longtime resident Ronald “Ron” Angione – son of Russell “RV” Angione and Cecilia Angione — aged 84 years old, closed his eyes for the final time February 5, 2024, at home with loved ones. Ron was born March 19, 1939, in Culver City, CA. He moved to Las Vegas with his family the summer of 1954 and graduated in 1957 from Las Vegas High School.
A charismatic casino executive and entrepreneur, Ron touched the lives of many. He stood out among his peers; he was a true gentleman. Ron had a love for nature, spending many years in San Diego and Colorado.
He is survived by the love of his life Ruth Angione; Siblings: Russell Angione and Donna Marr; Children: James “Craig” Nichols, Rocky Shook, and Ronald “Scott” Angione. Known as “Poppy”, he is also survived by (8) Grandchildren and (2) Great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Merrilee Angione (Sister) and Teri Angione (Daughter).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 1pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
