Rolf Heinz Moser, 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at the Creekside Hospice in Las Vegas on March 8th, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Hildegard, and is survived by his son Harry Moser (Nancy), daughters Heidi Boodt (Brad) and Ursula Landreth (Jack), as well as five grandchildren, Derek, Anne, Rachel, Trevor and Noah. Mr. Moser was born in Stuttgart, Germany on July 1st, 1928. Through a difficult upbringing, he was drafted into the German military as a young teenager, and during World War II, became a POW of the American Army. For several years after the war Rolf remained in Germany and then decided to move to Venezuela where he met his future bride, Hildegard. In the early 1960’s the Moser family, including young son, Harry, moved to Battle Creek, Michigan to begin a successful career with the Kellogg Company. Twin daughters, Heidi and Ursula, joined the family in late 1969 and after 2 years in Bogota, the family settled in Arlington Heights, Illinois for the remainder of his career. Finally retiring to Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1990’s, Mr. & Mrs. Moser spent many a day tending to their home and Rolf's beautiful yard, while enjoying time with close-by family and visitors. In 2012 as the challenge of keeping up a house became a reality, the Moser’s moved to Willow Creek Assisted Living in Las Vegas.
