Roger Ghormley, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on February 1, 2022 at home with his family. He was born September 25, 1954 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Charles and Virginia Ghormley. Roger graduated from Western High School and continued his education at UNLV where he majored in the UNLV Jazz Band. He was a skilled musician and played at various venues in the Las Vegas area, he loved jazz and blues music. He made his career running the Ghormley's family business, The Hush Puppy Restaurant.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Ghormley. He is survived by mother, Virginia Ghormley and brothers Mike and Scott Ghormley.
Services will be held at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery at 7251 W. Lone Mountain Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89129 on February 11, 2022 at 11 AM.
