Rogelio “Roger” Solis, age 77, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 due to COVID-19. Born on October 18, 1942 in Pontevedra, Capiz, Philippines, Roger was the fifth of 13 children born to Napoleon S. and Josefina (Arriola) Solis. He is predeceased by his wife, Florida (“Ida”); his son, Jeff; his brothers Procegonio, Jayne, Johnny, Pio, Herman, and his sister, Luzviminda. He is survived by two daughters, Josephine and her husband, Jeremy Harris, and Jennie and her husband, Sean Cremen; his beloved grandchildren Samantha, Kira, and Cai; his brothers Primo, Napoleon, and Rafael, and his sisters Victoria, Minerva, and Maria Magdalena; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services are private with Palm Southwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada. At a later date, Roger's remains will be inurned in a columbarium at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations or tribute gifts in his name be made to the American Lung Association.
