Rodolfo Del Rio, age 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Our father, Rodolfo, was born in Mexico and was married to our mother, Teresa for 63 years. He and our Mom knew each other almost a lifetime, since they lived half a block from each other as children. Our parents had six children; two sons and four daughters, both sons have already passed away. They also have 12 grandchildren , and eight great grandchildren. Our father became a U.S. Citizen and lived in this country for most of his life. He diligently worked a few jobs, and was eventually able to become self employed. He was a Jack of all trades. Our father was a family man. He was always present in our lives and was an excellent provider. He enjoyed spending time in his garden, and tinkering with everything. He loved to spend time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and always gave us great advice. He enjoyed listening to music, and staying active by riding his bike or taking walks. He loved to watch soccer and to travel with his family.
We all loved and respected our Dad very much and are devastated by his loss. His illness came on suddenly and was totally unexpected. We thought we would have our father for many years, because he took great care of himself. His passing was a total shock to all of us. We’re grateful to God that his illness was short lived and that he didn’t have any pain. May he Rest in Peace and may God have him in his glory.
