Roberto Alfonso Garcia
January 18, 1942 – April 3, 2025
Roberto Alfonso Garcia, 83, passed away on April 3, 2025, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by the family he so deeply loved.
Born on January 18, 1942, in Tijuana, Mexico, Roberto, known affectionately as “Bebo” since he was a baby, made a beautiful life in the United States. For over 35 years, he worked as a banquet captain in some of Las Vegas’s most iconic hotels and casinos. Known for his steady presence, warm heart, and unwavering work ethic, he was respected by colleagues and deeply loved by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 51 years, Lourdes Garcia, and the beautiful family they built together: their sons Roberto “Odin” Garcia, Alfonso “Cano” Alejandro Garcia, and Ricardo “Michy” Alfonso Garcia; nine grandchildren—Nicole, Evalyn, Elias, Bobby, Ricardo “Little Michy,” Brady, Diego, Addison, and Madden; and one great-grandson, Lucas.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Felix, and his firstborn son, Roberto Alfonso Garcia, Jr.
A devoted family man and lifelong Yankees fan, Bebo found joy in the simple things—family dinners, cheering on his favorite teams, and sharing stories with friends. He was loved by many, liked by all, and left this world with no enemies—only deep love, fond memories, and the legacy of a life well-lived.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Palm Southwest, 7979 W Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113 on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
