Roberto Carlos Espinoza

Robert Espinoza, age 77, passed away on September 12, 2019. He was born in Glendale, AZ to the late Ygnacio and Angelita Espinoza. Robert was a graduate of Glendale High School, Arizona State University and UNLV.

Robert devoted his career to education and served in a variety of positions including teacher, counselor, dean and vice-principal before retiring as an elementary principal from Clark County School District.

Robert enjoyed the company of his friends and family, dancing and playing golf. He was an avid fan of the PGA Tour and watched every tournament he could. Robert never knew a stranger and was well known for his quick wit and fantastic sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Irene Encinas; and his brother James "Jaime" Espinoza.

Robert is survived by two children Zina Espinoza and Carlos (Yvette) Espinoza; and siblings Merlinda Waddell, Frank Espinoza, and Steve Espinoza.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV, on Monday, September 23, 2019.
