Dear Uncle Robert,
 Thank you for all your support mentally and your kindness.  Aunty Paula and you had rescued me while I was at my one of the most mental downtime. You guys are patient listeners with some of my silly things. Even we are not blood related but you two are always a part of our family. 
 Uncle, you were and are always one of the best gift that God sent to this world.  I think you would have  another meaningful journey.
 You are always loved and remembered ❤️.

I worked with Bobby at Convoy Court in San Diego and we both were in Telephone Sales for Pacific Bell.  Bobby was fun and kind and at lunch time we would talk about Vietnam and some of what the guys had been through there.  It was an eye opener and so personal.    Also the bowling was fun.  Our office was a big long rectangle and the guys set up plastic pins and when our Manager was gone we had some fun!     The back window of the office faced onto the back end of Miramar Air Base and we used to line up at the back window and watch the Blue Angels practice.   It was the sticks then and not a Dumpling House in sight!  Miss you Brother!!!  Love You!!!

I met Bobby when I first began in Yellow Pages. He and I would often car pool as we lived a few blocks from each other. I remember him laughing with glee when we got to drive in the diamond lane . He wasn’t one of a lot of words but the few were genuine and full heart. I was going through some tuff times and I remember him telling me, “ Tommy the worst has already happened. The good is right ahead of you. He was right.  We both ended up in San Jose about the same time.  When he left everyone missed him. His laugh, his sense of humor his real self. Although I had tried many times to find him now I have no choice but to miss him the most.  He loved his family and Paula and talked about his Dad. Gods Speed  Bobby Le Poo… what was lost here on Earth now makes Heaven a better place. Peace and love Bobby.

Bobby was a good friend and a great colleague. During his time in San Diego we had many incredibly good times. Pam and I were there when he and Paula were married.   Bobby kept everyone in the office entertained and very grateful just to be in his presence.  When he left San Diego to go to Northern California he left a noticeable void in our close knit group of employees.

Paula, may you and your family find comfort in knowing Bobby led a full life and brought joy to many. As a co-worker at Yellow Pages I can still hear him going through the office calling, "Football cards, people."

So sorry for your loss.   I had the opportunity to meet “Uncle” as Nina Elliot called him. I noticed he always had a smile.    Nina loved him so and talked about the encouragement  she got from her “Uncle and Auntie”.    Praying for the family.   He is no longer in pain but is in heaven meeting our Savior and  walking those streets of gold.

Knock knock... Arrr!! That was my daily morning greeting at work with Robert. He always knocked back. As tired as I was, Robert was as vibrant as ever first thing in the morning. The world will miss your bright personality R, I know you're shining from above. Rest in Aloha

This was the day uncle and aunty took me to the beach and I almost drowned! Uncle was supposed to be watching me, but a rogue wave came and swept me in the deep. Aunty was screaming “Nina! Get Nina!” at him and he cluelessly replied, “Yes, Nina is right behind me!” Aunty had to run down and save me while uncle watched dumbfounded. For the next 17 years, Uncle was constantly reminded with laughter by me and aunty about the time he almost killed me.

I will never forget the help and love I received after having my third baby. Aunty Paula and Uncle Robert would pick up my laundry, wash it, dry it, fold it AND bring it back FOLDED! 
As if that was not enough love, they insisted on putting it away! I remember Uncle Robert saying "If you dont tell me where these towels go, I'm going to start opening drawers!" Angel on earth now angel in Heaven❤️

Bob,
You were a very good friend and I always trusted you.  I can say you were part of my Ohana of friends.  I hope Heaven is a good place to be.  I will miss you.  Paula, I share your sadness.  Let me know if you need anything.

You were such a bright light at physical therapy. Bruno and I were always happy to see you.  You fought a good fight my friend.

Robert will always be remembered as a loving , devoted to Paula sweetheart of a man.  A Vietnam veteran who served our nation with honor and distinction.  Humble in so many ways, he was a wonderful friend and a great neighbor in Ewa Beach Hawai'i.  I will miss his infectious laugh and glorious smile.  Robert you are loved....and miss be sorely miss in our world!  Rest with the Lord now.  We will remember you forever!!
