Robert L Nolan, 68 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on May 21, 2015. Robert was born to Harry and Eileen Nolan in Warsaw, New York on March 10, 1947. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and Nevada Test Site as a Nuclear Safety Analyst. He is a published author of his book “A Beautiful Hobby”, which details his favorite hobby and love for gemstones and opal. He will be remembered and missed for his silly sense of humor and “witty quotes and words of advice”. He is survived by his daughter Melissa Cabrera, two sons Robert L (Jikza) and Michael; his favorite grandchildren (each in their respective age category) Brian Poplin(Kayla), Lacey Gallegos (Ronald), Mariah Cabrera (Jon), Alexandra Cabrera; five great grandchildren (but he was already a pretty great Grandfather) Aiden Poplin, Landon Poplin, Makayla Gallegos, Adalee Poplin, Luke Gallegos; his sisters Linda Marshall and Sally Killian, and many wonderful nieces and nephews and… a couple of really cute grandpups. Services will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to our Mom, Suellen Nolan, for all of her support during our difficult time.
