Robert Lee Medcalf, 85, died in his sleep on Dec. 6, 2013 on Las Vegas. He was born in Cape Girdeau, MO on Oct. 7, 1928 to Zye and Geraldine Medcalf. He served in the Army during the Korean War. His lifelong occupation in the field of Education included School Superintendence’s, including Kansas City, MO. He was also a fall Professor at Wright State University in Ohio. He has lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carol Medcalf. Sons and their spouses include: Robert Medcalf, Jr. (Babette); Mark Medcalf; Michael Medcalf (Jan); and Matthew Medcalf (Danielle). His daughters are Bobette Aldridge (Larry); and Michelle Medcalf. He has 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at Palm Mortuary at 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. The public service is from 3-5 pm.
