Robert Endre Mayor

Robert “Bob” Endre Mayor, 90, Las Vegas, Nevada died Thursday, June 8, 2023 peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Mr. Mayor was born Feb. 4, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of the Air Force, Correctional Officer for the State of Nevada, and for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Robert Mayor is preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Irene Mayor, his aunt Eleanor, his sister Irene Major, and brother-in-law Joseph Hetkey. Robert Mayor is survived by his beloved wife Dolores of 64 years; two daughters, Sandra McIntosh (James “Paul”), Roberta Rohleder (Niel), 4 grandchildren, James, Nicholas, Courtney and Aaron and numerous nieces and nephews. He had a love for hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, a caring father,and a wonderful grandfather who cared about his family. He was also a dear friend to those who knew him, and will be missed by all.

His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N Bruce St, Las Vegas, NV 89030. Following the funeral service will be a committal service will be held at 3:00 pm at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
