Robert H Lease, 78, of Las Vegas passed away on Thursday June 5th, 2014. Born to Alice and Harold Lease on July 13, 1935, Robert was an only child. A deep man, he formed friendships that lasted for life and these friends became his brothers (you know who you are). He was raised in a religious Seventh Day Adventist home; he attended and graduated from Pacific Union College Preparatory School in Angwin, CA. To further his education he attended Atlantic Union College in Lancaster, Massachusetts. He received his Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Cal State Northridge. It was in New England that he met the love of his life Janice Pecci. On June 9th 1957, they were married and started a wonderful life together. He was a loving and devoted husband. They welcomed to the world two beautiful daughters Tamra (1958) and Tari (1961). Robert was a dedicated schoolteacher who loved what he did. Robert enjoyed playing sports such as baseball and hockey. After marriage Robert lived in Maine; California; and in 1991 moved to Las Vegas. He was a math teacher at a local sixth grade center and at Grant Sawyer Middle School. After retiring from teaching Robert became a Limo driver with CLS. Robert was a lover of sports. He particularly enjoyed NASCAR, Baseball, Football and Hockey. When he enjoying a game of baseball he rooted for the Red Sox, when the Sox weren’t playing he was rooting for “ANYTEAM to beat the Damn Yankees”. He also enjoyed traveling cross country. Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, the beautiful and talented Janice Lease; his daughters Tamra and Tari; his 6 grandchildren, April, Nathan, A.J., Robert, Katrina, and Alex; he is also survived by his 3 great grandsons, Garrett, Aaron Jr, and Rowan; and his brothers in Christ Bob Mulkern, and Bob Nash.
