Richard Torres passed away peacefully in Las Vegas at the age of 64. Richard spent his Last days surrounded by his Loved ones and took his last breath after the first pitch of the Dodger game on April 11th. He is survived by his Significant Other Valerie, Two daughters Darlene, Vanessa and his grandchildren Sienna, Jake, Nathaniel, Julian, Vicente & Victoria . Richard was also very lucky to have bonus kids and bonus grandchildren who loved him dearly.
Richard Torres was a hard working man who spent over 30 yrs working for USPS. He made many close friendships with his coworkers who became like family. He was a cousin, uncle and friend to many. He loved his family deeply and had a Huge giving heart. He loved to joke around and not take life to serious. He loved watching Sports and Wrestling. He had a deep love for the Dodgers. Some would say he purposely fought and took his last breath waiting to hear the dodger game start.
In honor of Richard Torres and what he requested we would love to have him a beautiful Celebration of life filled with sharing memories of Richard. We are requesting that all attendees wear Dodger gear or Dodger Blue as this this something that really represents Richard aka Rick/Ricky!
It would deeply be appreciated by our family if you can please share any pictures and memories below you have with Richard.
This isn't a goodbye forever but I'll see you again one day 💙
A memorial service for Richard will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
