To my loving husband of 61 years
The last 4 years have been so hard seeing you fight Alzheimer’s. As I sit here on our patio reflecting all those years recalling all the highs and lows and good times and bad.
We raised three wonderful sons, Scott, Ron and Reed and one loving granddaughter Destaney. Your life was amazing as I recall, having started your career with Safeway in Palm Springs at the age of 14 and a box boy, moved up the line to assistant Manager and then moved to Las Vegas and was a manager for 40 years till retirement. Not one to sit around, you then opened a lawn business and worked at a bank vault and also Angel Park Golf Course.
In all your years you joined the National Guard and worked your way up to first Lieutenant. You were active in all sports, snow skiing, water skiing, archery, shooting skeet, baseball etc. with your boys, fishing in Alaska and Washington State and building our first cabin in Swains creek, Utah. We moved away to Whidbey Island for a year and a half and returned to buy the cabin next door and remodeled it.
You decided to design and carve Kachinas for our home and loved woodworking.
Your little dog Boomer misses you so much, one night he pulled his blankets over to me and snuggled up, missing you and so does Gizmo, Scotts dog.
We celebrated your birthday as you passed one day before it on Oct 30th.We had a nice lunch in remembrance.
We plan to scatter your ashes in places you loved in the spring in Utah.
We will forever miss you and shall remain in our hearts forever and are happy you are no longer suffering and know your mowing Gods lawns in Heaven
Richard leaves many nieces and nephews in California and Chicago and Washington State a cousin A.W. Martin and wife Jolley in Delight, Ark. And an Aunt Betty Whitten in Cuervo, TX.
Rest in Peace my love, my one and only……..Judith and family

My father was a respected and loved man. Many of my friends and customers, had a tear in their eye and a frog in their throat when I mentioned his passing. I miss my pop's dearly. He taught me to respect everyone and to be kind.
I would say my favorite time was learning to water ski. I was so upset when I wasn’t able to learn that quickly, but he kept me on my toes and would never give up on me,
I do miss him and his smile. He made me what I am today.
Love you Pops and I will carry the Bigham name with Honor, Love Scott

Richard was a loving father and wonderful provider , He taught me how to fish , shoot gun's , water ski all the way thru to fixing my car's and truck's , I will miss the times we had playing golf together with my Mother (He taught me that to) . He never said no to anyone and was there to help or fix something at any given time someone needed something. My dad was honest man, I’m going to miss him. I loved my Father, Ronald Paul Bigham

Dad, your world through my eyes. You met the love of your life and brought 3 more into this world. You worked hard to give your family everything they wanted and more. You gave your blood, sweat and tears so that we were taken care of. You watched us laugh, love, fall down and get back up again. You taught us how to keep moving forward and showed us that hard work pays offs. You never quit or gave up and even fought to the end.
I think about you every day and cherish every moment we were together. Thank you for making me the man I am today. The time has come to say goodbye as I know you are at peace.
Forever and always, I love you dad.
Reed

Even though we are heartbroken you are no longer here, we are at peace knowing that you are in a better place and always with us in spirit. I will forever miss my birthday buddy and will cherish everything you have ever taught me. From how to be a fish in water, how to make the best hamburger, how to build the perfect fire and everything in between. Thank you for being a huge influence on the person I have become today. We love you so much and hope you are having a blast at being heavens personal gardener. I love you so much, hugs and kisses
your granddaughter, Destaney Marie Bigham.
